Bialla 2009 Proprietor's Limited Release (Napa Valley)
Score: 95
"Deliciously dense, pure, rich and polished, this beautifully focused red offers tiers of supple currant, red berry, blackberry and red and black licorice, with a long, gliding finish where the flavors are woven together in a seamless fashion. Tempting now. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Best from 2012 through 2026. —J.L."

Bialla 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)
Score: 94
"A terrific Cabernet that gives all the richness and opulence you expect in an expensive Napa Cab, yet controls it with firm tannins, acidity, minerals and earthiness. Explosive in blackberry and cherry-pie filling and chocolate granola-bar flavors that are so delicious, you can't stop reaching for another glass. The grapes come 100% from the winery's Atlas Peak estate vineyard."

Bialla Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2007
Score: 92
"Intense and well-structured, if a bit rustic, this offers a mix of rich currant, mineral, iodine, cedar and tobacco. Once this gets some air, it keeps getting better. Full-bodied, ending with firm tannins, yet the flavors flow through. Best from 2011 through 2019. 260 cases made." —Jim Laube

Vito:
Just tried my first bottle of the 2006, which is EXCELLENT! Needs a lot of breathing time
and is youthfully tannic, but I loved the chocolate, mint, floral, fruit-filled bouquet.
It's sweet with sexy fruit. Above all, it's perfectly balanced and shows the earmarks of
superior fruit and winemaking skill.
Should be a winner for you.
