Last weekend we had a wine tasting for the trade and press at an Appellation function and the feedback we received on our 2006 was absolutely incredible.
We had our winemaker Craig McLean say the same thing - best wine we ever made yet.
The '06 is extraordinary in complexity, balance, a bit softer and very very well structured. It reminds me of the French elegance of older vines with a touch of sweetness.
I go out on a limb by saying we have a bell-ringer here that belongs in the very top of Napa Cabs made in '06.
